Power without Political Wisdom

By Zabih Ullah Khattak (Pakistan)

Today’s master, tomorrow’s slave is a famous quote attributed to those who reproach the subordinates and think instantly that their panchayat will be persisted forever. Imran Khan is one of the most liked leaders and people blindly backed him which is itself an unreasonable debate. The general election of 2018 was a turning point which curved out the existing system and shone a new leader with dozens of promises. People thought him a Messiah that would lead them to a sustainable nation.

The initial years were uncertain as he could do experiments and appealed for cooperation from a ragged nation. The inexperienced rokkies strained an already fragile system and dented it with more futility. Imran Khan remained in power for around three and half years which was enough for his political career to be wiped out but thanks to the opposition who gave him a chance to unseat him through vote of no-confidence.

A cricketer-cum-politician was an exaggerator and demagogue who thought the system will be conglomerated and will do everything robotically. A common lullaby heard from the backers of IK is that Imran Khan is honest by himself but his companions are disloyal, corrupt and inefficient. I believe that Imran Khan is a super player but in politics he is inept and inexperienced.

The incarcerated leader was an engaging figure and knew the psyche of the nation by using their energy for self-declared Messiah-zm.

Fast forward to the current hype in which his name is not echoed in his nearest circle and the current setup engages every aspect that does not leave out any space for gulf to be filled with uncertainty.

Moreover, heath is unprovoked right of every human and cannot be halted by any condition but as I mentioned above that during his tenure he established his own panchayat where nothing happened without his consent and he was thoughtful that his chair will be regular in a country where never a Prime Minister completed his tenure and he ridiculed the health problems of the leaders.

The current allied setup has just dawned from a very strain situation and even the exiting parties lost their decades long struggle and hugged the system to be recovered. Although the existing parties are not Doodh k dhuley hue (not entirely above reproach) but they knew how to redirect the system if something unfamiliar approached.

Adding to that, the volatility does not end up here because during that time Pakistan fought India strenuously and reduced their hautighnous to rubble but a disturbing situation has experienced when the supporters of IK were unhappy with the success of Pakistan and literally supported the narratives of India backed proxies.

Adding to that, PTI remained hopeful of the presidency of Donald Trump who will render relaxation to the incarcerated leader and force Pakistan to release him but here topsy turvey demoral them as Trump administration never emphasized to do as they expected. Robbing salt onto the wound, when Trump commanded the CDF and Prime Minsiter for several time and PTI had a single narrow street hope which could wipe out.

Coming to the reasons in the results of which PTI faces such destruction: Firstly, PTI rattle with the promises they had made with the people before they came to power and people had mountainous expectation which were left uncompleted. Secondly, PTI is being in power for a dozen years in KP but nothing satisfied is happening and those who were unable to purchase a chine mobile is now roaming in a 2400cc Vigo’s and if ask for the sources of their wealth then they will arrogantly response that who are you to ask me or I am not answerable to and you are allowed to do whatever you can do, obviously they are powerful and nothing can be done with them. I am the eye witness of KP government where millions project had been swallowed and no one is here to ask for accountability.

Lastly, Imran Khan is an arrogant leader who does not accept the wrong doing he had inflicted and neither he surrender and ask for forgiveness which left him in jail. Although he knew that I was and I am not capable to administer this country better than the current setup but his hate does not permit him to surrender.
