Former President Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The shocking incident occurred when Trump was rushed off-stage by armed personnel after a gunshot was fired. The attacker is now dead.

Trump appeared to fall to the ground, clutching the side of his head with visible blood on his ear. Supporters watched in horror as he lay on the stage floor for about a minute. His well-trained security team quickly formed a protective circle around him and began escorting him off the stage.

Despite the danger, Trump managed to rise to his feet, raising his fist in a defiant gesture before being hurriedly taken away in a vehicle. The US Secret Service has confirmed Trump’s safety and implemented emergency protective measures around the former president.

Anthony Guglielmi, the Secret Service spokesperson, assured the public that an active investigation is underway and more information will be released as it becomes available. One other person, apart from the shooter, has also died, but no information has been released about this individual yet.

Billionaire Tesla founder Elon Musk shared the video of the incident on Twitter, announcing his official endorsement of Trump and praying for his recovery.

Trump’s campaign team quickly issued a statement through spokesman Steven Cheung, confirming that Trump was fine and expressing gratitude to law enforcement and first responders for their quick action. Cheung also mentioned that Trump was being checked out at a local medical facility, with more details to follow.
