Afzal Talib, Senior Vice President Lahore Press Club, met with Governor Punjab

The Advocate Post: Afzal Talib, Senior Vice President of the Lahore Press Club, met with Governor Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, at the Governor’s House in Lahore.

During their meeting, they discussed several pressing national issues. Mr. Talib raised concerns about the recent unprovoked attack by India on Azad Kashmir and Pakistan, and commended the nation’s swift and strong defense response.

Governor Saleem Haider Khan strongly condemned the aggression and assured that Pakistan would deliver a response that India would remember for decades.

“Water is our lifeline, and the entire nation stands united with our armed forces, ready to defend our country and its sovereignty,”

he said.

He further emphasized that martyrdom is considered a blessing in Pakistan, and the nation does not fear death in the defense of its homeland. The Governor also highlighted that all political parties are united when it comes to matters of national sovereignty, and praised the resilience and courage of the Pakistani people.

Sardar Haider praised the services of Afzal Talib towards the journalists community an advocate against yellow journalism and always non-biased as per the journalistic traditions and values.

Afzal also discussed key issues and challenges faced by Journalists along with other Local and National Issues and developments.
