India Launches 3 Missiles into Pakistan; ISPR Vows Strong Retaliation

Islamabad/New Delhi: In a major escalation of regional tensions, India has reportedly launched three missiles targeting locations inside Pakistan. According to early reports, the missiles struck near Kotli, Muzaffarabad, and Bahawalpur, raising alarm over the growing hostilities between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.

Pakistan’s military spokesperson, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), condemned the missile strikes as a blatant act of aggression”and vowed a firm and forceful response. “This provocation will not go unanswered. Pakistan reserves the right to respond at a time and place of its choosing,” the ISPR said in a strongly worded statement.

Initial assessments suggest the missiles caused structural damage and possible casualties, although the full extent of the damage is yet to be confirmed. Emergency services and military units have been deployed to the affected areas.

The incident follows weeks of heightened tensions after a deadly terror attack in Indian-administered Kashmir, which New Delhi blamed on Pakistan-based militants. India has not issued an official statement on the missile launches as of now.

The international community is urging restraint. The United Nations Security Council is expected to convene an emergency meeting to address the situation and prevent further escalation.

This is a developing story. More details will follow as confirmed information becomes available.
