Lahore: Abdullah Malik, President of Civil Society Network Pakistan, has issued a notification appointing Abdul Rafay Afzal as President Youth of the Civil Society Network Youth Pakistan. Abdul Rafay Afzal will work on issues affecting victims and public rights at both national and international levels, focusing on societal improvement and addressing human rights violations, especially youth rights. This move underscores CSNP’s commitment to empowering young leaders in human rights advocacy.
Abdul Rafay Afzal is one of the youngest editors, journalists, and social activists in Pakistan and globally, and he is also a law student. His writings are published in three languages across ten countries, and he serves as an editor for an international magazine. Additionally, for his global advocacy and journalistic services, he has been nominated for the International Asian Change Makers Award for 2024. He is also the Founder and Editor in Chief of The Advocate Post.
Abdul Rafay Afzal aimed for the advocacy of the issues in the society at large stating
We will be aiming Humans First Policy regardless of the race, religion, nationality. Will advocate the voices of the oppressed people and together we will be a strong wall against the infringement of human rights no matter where it is.
