Arshad Nadeem, Pakistan’s Javelin star, earns fourth place in Paris Diamond League. The Javelin ace started the game with a throw of 74.11 meters on his first attempt, following it up with an 80.28 meter throw.

He initially showed third place with a throw of 82.71 meters, which was unfortunately surpassed by Czech Republic’s Jacob Vadlejch, who delivered a throw of 85.04. In his fifth attempt, Nadeem needed a larger score to overpass Vadlejch and win third place, but he only managed to get 84.21 meters, securing fourth place in the end.

In first place stands Germany’s Weber Julian, who achieved a throw of 85.91 meter in his fifth attempt.

Arshad Nadeem is set to return home to Pakistan after the Paris Diamond League, to further train for his upcoming return to Paris for the 2024 Olympics.

Previously, Nadeem had won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022, also being the first Pakistani javelin thrower to win a silver medal in the 2023 World Athletics Championship. Last year in the 34th National Games, he had also been awarded a gold medal at the height of his achievement of 78.02 meters in his third attempt.
