Malawi’s President Lazarus Chakwera announced on Tuesday during a national address that all passengers on the airplane carrying Vice President Saulos Klaus Chilima, which went missing on Monday, have been confirmed dead.

Earlier, Malawi’s Anti-Corruption Bureau had arrested Vice President Chilima over corruption allegations in Lilongwe.
