In a significant meeting reflecting the evolving dynamics of Pakistan’s media and diplomatic landscape, the newly elected body of the Lahore Press Club, led by President Arshad Ansari and Senior Vice President Afzal Talib met with former Foreign Minister Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri at his office.
The delegation, comprising President Arshad Ansari, Senior Vice President Afzal Talib, General Secretary Zahid Abid, Treasurer Saliq Nawaz, Joint Secretary Imran Sheikh, and other members of the governing body, including Mujahid, Shahida Butt, and Ulfat Mughal, were joined by former Secretary Shafiq Awan, Editor-in-Chief of The Advocate Post Abdul Rafay Afzal, and senior journalist Ahsaan Naz.
During the meeting, Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri extended his warm congratulations to the newly elected body, appreciating their commitment to upholding the values of journalism and its crucial role in shaping public opinion and policy.
