Lahore Press Club and Peak Solutions Group Sign Major Educational Partnership with Support of The Advocate Post

Exclusive: In a landmark development aimed at advancing educational access for journalists and their families, the Lahore Press Club (LPC) and Peak Solutions Group (comprising Peak Solutions Institute and Peak Solutions College) have signed a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Lahore Press Club today.

The partnership facilitated by The Advocate Post under the guidance of Mr. Abdul Rafay Afzal, Consultant (International Cooperation & Media Diplomacy) at Lahore Press Club, President (Youth) Civil Society Network Pakistan and Editor-in-Chief of The Advocate Post marks a significant stride in the Club’s ongoing efforts to provide quality and affordable education to its members and their dependents.

Under the terms of the agreement, Peak Solutions Group will allocate 50 annual seats for LPC members and their families, offering up to 50% scholarship across its diploma, degree, and professional certification programs. The initiative is expected to save nearly PKR 2 million annually for Press Club families while promoting skill-based and technical learning in journalism, media, IT, and business-related disciplines.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Afzal Talib, Acting President of the Lahore Press Club, emphasized that such partnerships are essential for enabling journalists and their families to access higher education and adapt to evolving professional requirements.

“This collaboration opens doors for quality learning and will contribute to a more informed, capable, and empowered media community,”

he noted.

Mr. Muddassir Naeem, Chief Executive Officer of Peak Solutions Group, expressed his appreciation for The Advocate Post and Mr. Abdul Rafay Afzal for facilitating this initiative. He stated,

“It gives us immense pleasure to join hands with the Lahore Press Club. Together, we aim to build opportunities for professional advancement and youth empowerment through accessible education.”

The Advocate Post played a pivotal role in conceptualizing, drafting, and negotiating the agreement, further strengthening its ongoing work in institutional cooperation and educational diplomacy. Mr. Afzal, while addressing the ceremony, reiterated The Advocate Post’s commitment to

“building meaningful partnerships that connect education, media, and civic institutions for sustainable development and human capital growth.”

The signing ceremony was attended by Acting President Afzal Talib, General Secretary Malik Nawaz, CEO Peak Solutions Mr. Muddassir Naeem, Mr. Ali Hussain, and representatives from P@SHA, Lahore Chamber of Commerce, The Advocate Post, Peak Solutions and LPC Executive Committee including Mr. Imad Ali, Mr. Wahab Ahmed, Campus Heads, Mr. Salik Nawaz and others.
