KP, a northern western province of Pakistan has relinquished with uncertainty. Terrorism, political instability, extremism, religious fanaticism, poverty, unemployment and unseen rule of law situation make the province an anarchistic entity. Since the inception of the new country, KP is under siege with these problems and in 2024 the problems do not reduce but increase as the volatile situation takes a new look.
Those who are politically representing KP seem lethargic and haughty due to their self interest and less likely to endure the responsibility to fix the problems. The unserious behavior of those who are at the driving seat of KP’s shape is navigating their ways for their own lofty interest to be served in the exchange of national destruction.
Since long, KP has been bearing the brunt of terrorism, several attempts have been made but the volatile and inconsistent approach being used by the government and security forces result in the resurgence in KP. Moreover, currently, the terrorist organizations have thrived and a new wave of terrorism has engulfed KP which resulted in the martyrdom of dozens of security personnel and unsure when this wave of terrorism will end. Keeping this in mind, a question that must be a slip on the faces of those who are tending for mountainous-pledging and calling themselves representative of the people of Pakistan.

Moreover, the people of KP are not only bearing this ignited situation but also several other problems which can be attributed to the hell on earth situation. Adding to that, a recent attack on a convoy in which Shiacommunity people were boarded have been attacked in which more than 40 lives wereclaimed along with over a hundred being wounded. This religious fanaticism embarked on when a small part of a disputed land in (Boshera) Kurram agency ignited the conflict. In 2007, the conflict reached an unprecedented level and a single day fight claimed hundreds of lives resulting in the ceasefire being agreed and each group was bound to pay seventy million for a single life but the agreement was broken. Leading to that, the routine skirmishes were part of this region. In the mid of this lurking situation, as I had a conversation with the resident of Bagan(a small village in Kurram agence) said that the recent storm of sectarian war has been restarted with full bloom when the Shia’s community kill 11 member of Suni community in response of which they did attack on the convoy of Shia’scommunity and claimed more than 40 lives and dozens have been seriously injured. While the hotbed still seems like a bloodbath as the Shia’s community again launched an attack on Bagan Bazar killing 18 people including three women and an aged man as a picture circulating on social media in which somehow a man of eighty’s head has been cut and hanged in the Bazaar.
On one side KP is bleeding and on the other side a limited time (time of election campaign) massehas arefighting a war in the capital for Islamabad. To whom the people of Kurram agency bring their case to reduce the intensity of this sectarian war? Whom shall we blame for this mess? Whom shall we call the culprit of this war? Why shall we not blame ourselves for living in Pakistan? Hup haps! No..no…no we the people of KP are responsible to expect something from them. Allah protects you KP from such disaster situation and also I would ensure that there is nothing insight to you at the horizon and still it needs years to be comforted. Wait!wait!wait till the political circus finishes at Islamabad.
