Lahore, Pakistan: Abdul Rafay Afzal Pakistan’s youngest International Journalist Editor in Chief and Founder of The Advocate Post, President Civil Society Network Pakistan invited as Guest Panelist Speaker on First Chief Minister Youth Summit held in Lahore on International Youth Day, organised by Government of Punjab, Deputy Commissioner Lahore and Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL) on the vision of Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Shareef.
In a significant event aimed at empowering the youth, Punjab’s First Chief Minister Youth Summit was successfully held, brought together young leaders, students, and influencers to discuss the future of youth in Pakistan.
One of the highlights of the event was the participation of Pakistan’s youngest International Journalist, Founder and Editor in Chief of The Advocate Post, and President of Civil Society Network Pakistan, who was invited as a speaker panelist. The young journalist engaged in an open discussion with the youth, addressing their challenges, opportunities, and the way forward.
During the panel discussion, the journalist shared valuable insights drawn from their experience on the global stage, encouraging the youth to seek guidance and seize the opportunities available to them. Emphasizing the need for practical steps to support youth empowerment, the panelist underscored the importance of continued government efforts in this direction.
“It was an honor to be the youngest panelist at such a significant event,”
the he remarked.
“This summit is a positive step toward promoting youth opportunities, but more practical measures are essential. I am committed to working on youth empowerment and national interests, and I look forward to continued collaboration with the government.”
In a reply to a question about Influence of Fuddles and big families in country politics as a barrier for youth in State Matters he replied
“There is always a good and negative way to achieve any goal. It’s always your choice what you choose. Excuses are just for ones who are not determined. Either way if you are not rich or come from a big family if you have talent, courage, positivity and passion about something you will eventually get it. The process could be hard but not something impossible.”
The summit was lauded as an important platform for fostering youth engagement and empowering the next generation of leaders in Pakistan.
In a reply to another question about the problems in the system he stated.
We are not in a position to sustain a revolution in the system. For that nations have to pay a huge price through their lives, money, peace and many other factors. It can become a threat to our sovereignty as we are surrounded by forces which are aiming to dismantle our country. We need Evolution Not Revolution.
